Aspiration is hiring a Sr. Manager, Market Research to provide insights which will help us grow our customer base and increase their LTV.  This role will work with marketing and product marketing to help solve key business questions, analyze findings, and provide impactful research to those teams. You will help drive both customer and product insights for our credit card Aspiration Zero and our Aspiration Spend & Save account. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing, the ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, data-driven team player with excellent communication skills. 

What You'll Do

  • Develop and lead market research to drive our understanding of our customers and target audiences, affecting what and how we bring our products to market. 
  • Evaluate the 1st and 3rd party data at our disposal and develop a method for collecting and analyzing competitive and customer insights that will inform our go-to-market strategy. 
  • Measure Aspiration’s brand health and share insights to improve our awareness and preference. 
  • Lead all aspects of research projects including methodology, vendors, and an annual plan, including a research budget.
  • Communicate and present marketing and product-relevant conclusions from research to relevant teams. 
  • Stay on the pulse of research trends to help bring innovative new approaches to our data set. 

What You'll Bring

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics or Mathematics
  • 5+ years in market research (in fintech category a plus)
  • Experience conducting and designing research projects from end-to-end, including questionnaire development, programming, sample management, data weighting, analysis, report writing, etc.
  • Strong project management and time management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects at once and prioritize work appropriately
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to influence cross-functionally
  • Passion for fighting climate change
