Job Details:  Title: Hardware Test Engineer  Educational Qualifications: B.E. / B Tech /M Tech with Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation.  Experience: Minimum 7 - 9 years of experience in Electronics Hardware development/Testing in the automotive industry  Location: Bengaluru India Technical CenterJob Purpose:  As an experienced Hardware Test engineer, you will be involved in the verification and qualification of Power Electronics Hardware for High voltage Electronic Turbochargers and Electronic Boosters  Will be part of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined product development and testing teams working on projects involving multiple locations.Key Responsibilities:  Review the technical requirements of the Electronics Hardware assembly and estimate the effort involved for Hardware testing and align the same with the Lead and stakeholders.  Performing circuit design analysis, and testing/validation of Hardware circuits for functionality and performance under varying conditions, create the test cases based on the Hardware requirements/Circuit design and execute the same on the board in the test bench.  Execute testing &amp; debugging of complex power electronics, PCB level testing and diagnose circuit board failures in a high voltage or low voltage environment based on the scope of test.  Documentation of test results within the V-process / Automotive SPICE framework  Perform peer reviews of test specification and test reports.  Troubleshooting failures during tests, perform cause analysis, and provide reports to key stakeholders and cross functional teams.  Setting up and maintaining project-specific test benches including Hardware equipment test tools and electronic components required.Work Experience/Skills:  Exemplary experience and knowledge in the verification of Power Electronics Hardware in the automotive sector.  Very good knowledge in power-electronic theories, circuit design, and measurement techniques. Experience with testing of mixed signals electronics designs, power switching circuits in Automotive Embedded Power Electronics Hardware.  Hands-on experience in testing &amp; debugging complex power electronics, PCB level testing and diagnosis of circuit board failures. Strong abilities to Interpret schematics/requirements/data sheets, comprehend PCB layout of inverter stages, transceivers, microcontrollers, power modules (with IGBT, MOSFET etc), Pre-drivers etc. and interpret the design calculations and applying various testing methodologies.  Strong knowledge of Electronics testing tools such as Function/ signal generators, Oscilloscope, Climate chamber, power supplies.
