We are hiring a high-impact, ownership-minded Territory Sales Manager to drive rapid expansion of our EV charging infrastructure across Delhi–NCR. This role demands someone who understands the EV charging ecosystem, tracks current and future trends in metro real-estate rentals, and can convert on-ground opportunities into scalable growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a target-driven, field-intensive environment, takes ownership of territories, builds strong landlord and partner relationships, and is passionate about creating visible impact in India’s EV transition.<h3>Roles &amp; Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead generation through cold calls, extensive field visits, and engagement with real-estate networks to build a healthy pipeline</li><li>Prepare and maintain a database of CPOs, commercial real-estate agents, landlords, and municipal contractors; monitor territory pipeline and take corrective actions</li><li>Understand area-specific challenges and network urgency while scouting locations; prepare PDCA plans to meet targets within stringent timelines</li><li>Identify local business partners as per approved network models</li><li>Source leads interested in hosting charging stations or purchasing chargers</li><li>Ensure locations meet financial benchmarks (rent, power cost, demand charges, CAPEX viability)</li><li>Coordinate with city operations and technical teams to assess feasibility; engage with property owners strictly as per central SOPs and guidelines</li><li>Maintain all records, registrations, and statutory documents</li><li>Negotiate with landlords on scope of work, agreement tenure, rentals, security deposits, and annual increments and Execute rental and service agreements as per central legal requirements</li><li>Work with city teams to collect documents and apply for power connections</li><li>Liaise with DISCOMs to secure EV power connections across Delhi–NCR</li><li>Develop and manage vendors and contractors for power applications, approvals, and meter energization</li><li>Understand DISCOM-wise rules, tariffs, timelines, and regulatory requirements</li><li>Track EV policies, traffic regulations, and tenders; share insights with leadership</li><li>Ensure timely payment of power and rental bills to avoid operational downtime</li><li>Maintain relationships with existing landlords / epump partners to ensure uninterrupted operations</li><li>Coordinate with business, operations, and finance teams for smooth execution</li></ul>The ideal candidate requires:<ul><li>Proven experience  preferably 3-4 Years in sales / business development with ability to adapt to changing requirements</li><li>Strong hustle and execution mindset with ability to challenge the status quo</li><li>Creative and collaborative approach to problem-solving</li><li>Strong interest in the EV and energy sector</li><li>Experience in EV, real estate, franchise scouting, or expansion roles preferred</li><li>Strong deal-closing capability with ambition to grow and scale</li></ul>What matters<ul><li>High ownership of work. </li><li>Quality of work</li><li>Approach towards problem-solving</li><li>Dissatisfaction towards mediocre work</li><li>Resilient attitude to bounce back after failing</li><li>Ideal experience range of 4 to 8 years of relevant experience</li></ul>About UsExponent simplifies energy for EVs.Co-founded by Arun Vinayak (Ather Energy's Founding Partner &amp; Former Chief Product Officer) and Sanjay Byalal (Former hardware strategic sourcing and cell strategy lead, Ather and Former Supply Chain Lead, HUL), Exponent focuses on solving two sides of the energy problem by building the e^pump (charging station) and e^pack (battery pack) which together unlock 15-min rapid charging.The 200+ strong team of passionate builders have a ton of EV experience and are currently looking for more builders to join one of the best EV teams in India to build &amp; scale Exponent.
