This position requires developing in-depth expertise of manufacturing systems and overseeing all electrical requirements through close collaboration with our manufacturing engineers and equipment vendors. The successful candidate will lead up the electrical engineering discipline, managing both internal teams and external consultants to deliver comprehensive electrical solutions. This person will also work closely with our facilities team and act as an informal system owner for the site. This role involves creating detailed electrical design packages for permitting and construction, driving the bidding process for electrical scopes, and selecting and managing electrical trade partners. The Staff Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical projects are executed on schedule and meet quality standards. This includes reviewing designs to ensure they are cost-effective, constructible, and code-compliant, while also meeting Form Energy’s quality and schedule requirements. This person will work closely with other disciplines, including design managers, manufacturing representatives, and various stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other project components. Drive schedule &amp; quality of execution.</li><li>Review and develop designs that are cost effective, constructible, code compliant while meeting From Energy’s quality and schedule requirements.</li><li>Coordinate with other disciplines including Design Managers, Manufacturing reps, and other stakeholders.</li><li>You will be working from the factory site and will participate in field construction and commissioning activities.</li></ul><h3>What you'll bring:</h3><ul style=""><li>8+ years of electrical engineering experience in large commercial and industrial infrastructure (e.g., manufacturing, data centers, hospitals, etc.).</li><li>Proven experience in electrical distribution design, including 480V and below.</li><li>Skilled in detailed design of Medium Voltage and Low Voltage power distribution equipment including switchgear, substations, and circuit breaker.</li><li>Experience in EPC Environment (Engineering, Procurement &amp; Construction) leading engineering discipline(s).</li><li>Direct experience in the preparation of electrical permit drawings and engineering specifications.</li><li>Electrical professional engineer (P.E.) license is a plus.</li><li>Ability to prepare and complete electrical deliverables using REVIT MEP is a plus.</li><li>Proficiency reviewing and responding to field construction changes (RFIs).</li><li>Exceptional drive, sense of ownership and resourcefulness.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.</li></ul><h3> Where you'll work:</h3>This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA.
