We work with some of the world's most influential brands, including Fortune 500 companies, to drive the future of freight.</p><h2></h2><h2>  You will be responsible for</h2><ul><li>Government Incentive and Grant Acquisition: Identify, apply for, win, and manage the ongoing compliance of federal, state, and local government incentives relevant for Einride. </li><li>Transportation Policy and Regulatory Affairs: Serve as Einride's primary US advocate with transportation authorities to resolve regulatory hurdles—such as weight allowance permits—enabling heavy-duty electric trucks to haul high-density payloads at parity with ICE vehicles</li><li>Sustainability Policy &amp; Industry Intelligence: Monitor and engage with the evolving policy landscape across book and claim, carbon markets, zero-emission zones, SBTi, and GLEC frameworks; translate learnings into concrete strategic recommendations for commercial and operational workstreams</li></ul><p></p><h2>You will bring</h2><ul><li>8+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, sustainability, or public funding within the transportation, energy, or clean technology sector</li><li>Preferred if have the following subject matter expertise: securing government grants and incentives, US clean transportation policy landscape, carbon credit markets / renewable energy certificates/ sustainability reporting frameworks, established relationships with government entities in the clean transportation or energy space</li><li>Excellent in program management, written and verbal communication, cross-functional collaboration, and leveraging AI tools</li></ul><p></p><h2>What we offer</h2><ul><li>Salary range: $155,000 – $170,000 per year for New York City candidates</li><li>Competitive salary and stock options</li><li>Competitive and comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans</li><li>401k with employer match</li><li>25 days of PTO, 15 sick days, 15 US Holidays observed</li><li>Wellness allowance</li></ul><p></p><p>This is a full-time position based in Austin, TX or New York, NY.
