Your efforts will directly contribute to the organization's success by ensuring that the complex systems we build meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.  This role requires a speed &amp; execution mindset coupled with attention to detail.</div><br><br><h3>Key Responsibility Areas:</h3><ul><li>Develop, implement, and manage the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with relevant ISO standards</li><li>Oversee supplier quality, incoming inspection and in process validation for critical hardware components</li><li>Manage and develop company policies, programs, and procedures for non-conformance, corrective actions, and anomaly investigations</li><li>Work with the Company’s leadership and technical teams to integrate quality checkpoints into the engineering design and manufacturing lifecycle</li><li>Work with the technical teams to ensure proper quality measures are instituted for both hardware and software</li><li>Lead internal audits and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams</li></ul><h3>Ideal Experience &amp; Skillsets:</h3><ul><li>10+ years of relevant work experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within aerospace, automotive, or energy sectors</li><li>Past leadership positions and experience managing and growing Quality organizations</li><li>Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, NQA-1 or other relevant quality standards</li><li>OSHA 30hr Certification and a strong safety focus</li><li>Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work across cross-functional teams to support quality challenges</li><li>Strong ethics and discretion</li></ul><h3>Company Benefits:</h3><ul><li>Salary range $85,000-$150,000</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits (e.g. medical/dental/vision)</li><li>Employee equity stock options</li><li>20 days PTO</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Ability to perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time.</li><li>Willingness to occasionally travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call.</li><li>Ability to work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics.</li></ul><br><div>It’s not necessary to meet all of the skillsets outlined above. Stellarators are inherently steady-state, stable magnetic configurations that eliminate potential disruptions, making it an optimal pilot plant architecture. Thea Energy is building off foundational research and technology development that it spun out of Princeton University and Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, where the stellarator was first imagined in 1951. Thea Energy's proprietary breakthroughs have now enabled systems to be simpler and more practical than previously possible resulting in a system design that can scale to long-term commercial system operation and maintenance.​</p>
