<h2><b>Position: Quantity Surveyor - Transportation </b></h2><p><b>Location- Bangalore Office</b></p><p></p><h2>To manage cost estimation, budgeting, BOQ preparation, and contract administration across infrastructure projects (Rail &amp; Metro, Roads &amp; Highways), ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.</h2><p></p><h2><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for pre- and post-contract stages.</h2></li><li><h2>Conduct quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost benchmarking.</h2></li><li><h2>Monitor project costs and support value engineering initiatives.</h2></li><li><h2>Prepare tender documents and assist in procurement processes.</h2></li><li><h2>Administer contracts including variations and change management.</h2></li><li><h2>Ensure compliance with FIDIC, CVC, GFR guidelines and relevant industry standards.</h2></li><li><h2>Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.</h2></li></ul><h2><b>Key Attributes:</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Strong expertise in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and quantity take-offs (AutoCAD/Revit).</h2></li><li><h2>Knowledge of infrastructure contracts and procurement practices.</h2></li><li><h2>Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.</h2></li><li><h2>Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CostX preferred.</h2></li></ul><h2><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering / quantity surveying / construction management.</h2></li><li><h2>Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects.</h2></li></ul><h2><b>Compliance:</b></h2><h2>Adherence to company BMS, QMS, OH&amp;S procedures and promotion of integrity compliance culture.</h2><h2></h2><p></p><p></p><p>At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
