The ideal candidate brings deep rooftop solar expertise, strong leadership capability, and a disciplined, process-driven approach to construction management.</div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><strong>Field &amp; Operational Oversight</strong></li><li>Provide direct oversight and leadership to field Construction Managers</li><li>Conduct routine site visits and field audits to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met</li><li>Review weekly production reports, and look-ahead schedules</li><li>Identify and address execution gaps in real time</li><div> </div><li><strong>Process &amp; Quality Management</strong></li><li>Enforce standardized construction processes and installation best practices</li><li>Ensure consistent documentation across all projects (daily/weekly reports, QA/QC checklists, photo documentation)</li><li>Conduct quality audits on rooftop penetrations, flashing, racking, and electrical installations</li><li>Ensure compliance with NEC requirements, fire setbacks, and roof warranty standards</li><li>Drive corrective action plans to reduce rework and warranty claims</li><div> </div><li><strong>Schedule &amp; Execution Discipline</strong></li><li>Hold Construction Managers accountable to project schedules</li><li>Review and validate 2–4 week look-ahead plans</li><li>Proactively identify risks and implement recovery plans</li><li>Escalate issues early to avoid client or financial impacts</li><div> </div><li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></li><li>Partner closely with Project Managers and Project Management Leads to align field execution with contract scope and budget</li><li>Support accurate forecasting through real-time field reporting</li><li>Assist with change order identification and documentation</li><li>Maintain a “no surprises” communication culture across teams</li><div> </div><li><strong>Safety Leadership</strong></li><li>Champion strong safety culture across all job sites</li><li>Ensure OSHA compliance and fall protection standards are consistently enforced</li><li>Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation</li></ul><h3>Qualifications </h3><ul><li>7–12+ years of construction experience, with 3–5+ years in commercial rooftop solar</li><li>Experience managing Construction Managers /Superintendents</li><li>Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, metal,)</li><li>Expertise in ballasted and attached racking systems</li><li>Understanding of commercial electrical tie-ins, NEC solar requirements, and rapid shutdown compliance</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects</li><li>OSHA 30 certification required</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft based programs</li><li>Willingness to travel to active project sites as needed</li><div> </div><div><strong>Key Competencies</strong></div><li>Strong field leadership and accountability mindset</li><li>Process-driven with high attention to detail</li><li>Effective communicator across field and office teams</li><li>Proactive problem solver</li><li>Comfortable addressing performance gaps directly</li><li>High standards for workmanship and documentation</li></ul><br><div>Salary will vary depending on your location and job-related skills and experience.
