Our customers span a wide array of industries including aerospace, defense, mobility, healthcare, pharma, biotech, clean tech, chemicals, energy, lifestyle, food production, and industrial equipment.</p><h2>Who are we looking for?</h2><p>We are seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to lead purchasing, supplier management, and material readiness activities that support uninterrupted plant operations and on-time customer delivery. This is a working supervisor role—balancing hands-on execution with team leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong procurement and supplier management experience, proven negotiation skills, and the ability to develop high-performing teams. This individual makes data-driven decisions, drives supplier accountability. You'll eliminate material shortages, reduce expedite costs, and ensure supplier performance aligns with operational and customer requirements.</p><h2>What you get to do!</h2><ul><li>Oversee daily purchasing activities to ensure timely placement and management of purchase orders.</li><li>Support buyers in pull-ins, push-outs, cancellations, and shortage mitigation actions.</li><li>Intervene directly on critical shortages, high-risk materials, and advanced supplier constraints.</li><li>Lead supplier customer concerns related to delivery, quality, and capacity issues and drive recovery planning.</li><li>Negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQ, and service level commitments with suppliers.</li><li>Develop and maintain Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) to support program launches and sustained production demand.</li><li>Partner with Engineering to drive material cost reduction initiatives, alternative sourcing, and specification optimization.</li><li>Directly supervise purchasing and supply chain personnel, setting priorities and balancing workload distribution.</li><li>Coach and develop team capability in ERP utilization, supplier management, and procurement strategy.</li><li>Partner with Production, Planning, Engineering, and Operations to align material readiness with manufacturing needs.</li><li>Monitor and manage important metrics including material shortages, past-due purchase orders, rush expenses, and supplier timely delivery.</li><li>Provide leadership visibility on material risks, shortages, and supplier performance gaps</li></ul><h2>What you will bring to the Team</h2><ul><li>5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing supplier performance and material availability.</li><li>Prior experience supporting new program launches or sustained production agreements.</li><li>3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.</li><li>Strong ERP systems experience (JobBOSS, Infor SyteLine, or equivalent).</li><li>Advanced Excel capability; Power BI experience preferred.</li><li>Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and supplier relationship management skills.</li><li>Ability to make independent decisions under pressure in fast-paced operational</li></ul><h2><strong>The BIG payoff</strong></h2><p>We are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.</p><p>Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and will share in the financial rewards of the success we achieve together, at all levels of the company!</p><p><strong>We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operate</strong></p><p>Re:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
