You will help ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and internal policies while fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and ethical business conduct.</p><p>Working closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams, you will identify compliance risks, implement practical mitigation measures, and provide guidance that enables Scatec to operate responsibly and sustainably while supporting business growth and development.</p><h2>What you’ll be doing</h2><p>In this role, you will take ownership of compliance activities and risk management initiatives, including:</p><ul> <li><p>Develop, maintain, and improve compliance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks</p></li> <li><p>Conduct compliance risk assessments and support the implementation of mitigation and corrective action plans</p></li> <li><p>Partner with business functions to identify, evaluate, and manage compliance risks across projects and operations</p></li> <li><p>Lead and support integrity due diligence processes for third parties, suppliers, and business partners</p></li> <li><p>Deliver compliance awareness initiatives, training programs, onboarding sessions, and communication campaigns</p></li> <li><p>Support the assessment and management of concerns reported through whistleblowing and grievance mechanisms</p></li> <li><p>Monitor compliance activities, perform assurance reviews, and provide independent evaluations of compliance practices</p></li> <li><p>Provide regular reporting and legal guidance to management on compliance risks, incidents, and improvement initiatives</p></li></ul><p>Your work will help protect Scatec’s reputation, strengthen ethical business practices, and support sustainable growth across the organisation.</p><h2>What you’ll gain</h2><ul> <li><p>Professional growth through ownership of critical compliance and governance initiatives</p></li> <li><p>Hands-on experience in a role that combines legal expertise, risk management, and business partnering</p></li> <li><p>Exposure to complex international projects and cross-functional collaboration across a global organisation</p></li> <li><p>Opportunity to influence business decisions and contribute to responsible and sustainable growth</p></li> <li><p>Experience working within the renewable energy sector and supporting strategic development activities</p></li> <li><p>A key role in strengthening Scatec’s culture of integrity, accountability, and compliance excellence</p></li></ul><h2>What you’ll bring</h2><ul> <li><p>Minimum 7 years of relevant legal experience advising on international transactions, compliance matters, and regulatory frameworks</p></li> <li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related legal discipline</p></li> <li><p>Experience within the energy, infrastructure, or renewable energy sector is preferred</p></li> <li><p>Strong understanding of compliance programs, risk assessments, and governance frameworks</p></li> <li><p>Familiarity with public procurement processes and the FIDIC suite of contracts is considered an advantage</p></li> <li><p>Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus</p></li></ul><h2>What it’s like to work at Scatec</h2><p>At Scatec, we combine purpose with performance.
