<h2><span style="color:rgb(0, 32, 96);">What The Role Is</span></h2><p>Reporting to the Manager, Procurement, the Sourcing Specialist is responsible for procuring goods and/or services and supporting sourcing and purchasing needs for assigned stations/business units, providing industry, technical, and supply chain expertise. The primary objective is to manage inventory and suppliers to deliver the highest quality, reliability, and value to meet company and station/business unit requirements, and to provide expertise to support business and system processes for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials/services.</p><p>This is a hybrid position based in our Scottsdale, AZ office.  If you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications but see yourself contributing, please submit your resume.</p><h2><span style="color:rgb(0, 32, 96);">What You'll Be Doing</span></h2><ul><li>Assist in gathering and analyzing industry, economic, market, and spend data.</li><li>Supports identifying opportunities to leverage spend by category.</li><li>Measure and track performance within a defined spend category.</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential suppliers.</li><li>Develop, negotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers.</li><li>Participate in cross-functional sourcing teams to evaluate potential and current suppliers.</li><li>Support execution of supplier KPIs and demonstrate continuous improvement.</li><li>Review and coordinate gathering of technical, cost, and delivery requirements.</li><li>Create and evaluate quotations/bids and recommend suppliers for sourcing selection.</li><li>Negotiate and place purchase orders.</li><li>Ensure timely delivery of goods/services.</li><li>Coordinate resolution of accounts payable and delivery issues.</li><li>Review and process claims against suppliers for unsatisfactory materials, delivery, or equipment.</li><li>Ensure site warehouse personnel comply with Supply Chain policies and procedures.</li><li>Execute practices to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing shortages and delays.</li><li>Respond to audits, surveys, or other informational requests from internal and external sources.</li><li>Actively promote and support the company's Supplier Diversity initiatives.</li><li>Effectively communicate the impact of sourcing decisions to management and employees as appropriate.
