The Rolling Stock Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing rolling stock systems for metro projects. This role requires a professional with a strong engineering background, hands-on experience in rolling stock design, and a focus on ensuring safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet project requirements and international standards.<ol><li>Design &amp; Development<ul><li>Develop detailed designs for rolling stock systems, including mechanical, electrical, and structural components.</li><li>Ensure designs meet project specifications, operational requirements, and international standards.</li></ul></li><li>System Integration<ul><li>Coordinate the integration of rolling stock systems with other metro subsystems, such as signaling, tracks, and power supply.</li><li>Address technical challenges related to system compatibility and performance optimization.</li></ul></li><li>Technical Review &amp; Validation<ul><li>Review and validate design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Conduct simulations and analyses to test system performance, reliability, and safety.</li></ul></li><li>Compliance &amp; Standards<ul><li>Ensure rolling stock designs comply with international standards, such as EN, IEC, and ISO.</li><li>Monitor regulatory changes and adapt designs accordingly.</li></ul></li><li>Project Coordination<ul><li>Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of rolling stock design activities.</li><li>Provide technical support during procurement, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning phases.</li></ul></li><li>Quality Assurance<ul><li>Implement quality control measures to ensure designs meet the highest standards of reliability and safety.</li><li>Conduct inspections and audits to identify and address design-related issues.</li></ul></li><li>Performance Optimization<ul><li>Analyze rolling stock performance data and implement design improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lifecycle costs.</li><li>Develop innovative solutions to address operational challenges and improve passenger experience.</li></ul></li></ol>
