Working closely with Operations and Engineering, this role supports a wide range of in‑house PCBA soldering modifications using well‑defined methods and accessible documentation. The technician also contributes to internal root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action activities to support continuous improvement.ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Follow documented inspection procedures for both electrical and mechanical evaluations.</li><li>Perform SMT/PCBA incoming inspection to verify conformance to specifications.</li><li>Execute in‑house PCBA changes, rework, and soldering modifications as required.</li><li>Conduct incoming mechanical inspections using precision measurement tools.</li><li>Document incoming inspection failures and initiate return to vendor paperwork. Could include conference calls with Vendors.</li><li>Accurately document findings and enter inspection data into the ERP system.</li><li>Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.</li><li>Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives, including problem‑solving and corrective actions.</li><li>Position could extend to Cable/Crimp inspection with training.</li></ul><div></div>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>2–4 years of relevant experience in electronics, SMT, quality inspection, or a related field.</li><li>Proficiency with mechanical inspection tools (calipers, micrometers).</li><li>Experience with microscope inspection and SMT soldering required.</li><li>IPC J‑STD‑001 and/or IPC‑A‑610 certification preferred.</li></ul><div></div>JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES<ul><li>Ability to read and interpret PCBA drawings, diagrams, schematics, and related documentation.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity; skilled in hand‑tools and soldering techniques.</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills required.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office.</li><li>Comfortable working with microscopes and other precision inspection equipment.</li></ul>  Salary Range: $44,500.00-$59,300.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
