You will oversee Quality Engineering, QC Inspection, and Receiving Inspection teams while ensuring products, materials, and processes meet all customer, regulatory, and industry standards.This position is ideal for a hands‑on quality leader who thrives in fast‑paced, highly regulated environments and is passionate about preventing quality escapes and driving continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead factory and supplier quality engineering activities and daily QC inspection operations.</li><li>Supervise, train, and develop QC Inspectors, Leads, and Engineers.</li><li>Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA requirements, and customer specifications.</li><li>Oversee Receiving, In‑Process, Final, and Shipping inspections, including AS9102 First Article Inspections.</li><li>Conduct supplier audits, approve/reject suppliers, and drive supplier corrective actions.</li><li>Lead preliminary MRB reviews and support final dispositions.</li><li>Investigate quality escapes and field returns; implement root‑cause and corrective actions.</li><li>Maintain QC KPIs, inspection instructions, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Support customer, regulatory, and third‑party audits.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.</li><li>7–10 years in Quality Control/Quality Engineering or manufacturing quality.</li><li>Aerospace, defense, or high‑reliability manufacturing experience strongly preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, engineering drawings, and inspection methodologies.</li><li>Strong root‑cause and corrective‑action skills (5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D).</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; TIPQA/FileMaker experience a plus.</li><li>Preferred: IPC‑610/620, ASQ certifications (CQI, CQE, CQA), FAA FAR Part 21/145 familiarity.</li><li>Must be a U.S. Person.</li></ul>What You Bring<ul><li>Leadership presence with the ability to motivate and develop technical teams.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and supplier organizations.</li><li>Commitment to quality excellence and continuous improvement.</li></ul>  Salary Range: $120,300.00-$160,400.000Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
