We don’t expect you to ‘fit’ every requirement – your life experience, character, perspective, and passion for achieving great things in the world are equally as important to us.<h1>Job description</h1>Meet our Team Hitachi Digital Services Japan, which is the HDS’s Japan country office, is strengthening its offshore engineering services leveraging development centers in Vietnam and India, building a global delivery structure that combines high quality and cost competitiveness.  What you’ll be doing<div><ul><li>Lead and manage end-to-end software projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.</li><li>Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, communicating in Japanese and English.</li><li>Manage scope, timelines, and resources using Agile/Kanban and tools like Jira or Notion.</li><li>Work with AWS (S3, Athena, Lambda) and Azure (Blob, Functions, Logic Apps) to support system operations.</li><li>Monitor data pipelines and reports (Power BI), and manage master data (e.g., Airtable).</li><li>Adapt to or support projects in the hospitality domain.</li><li>Be open to onsite work in Tokyo, Japan.</li></ul></div>What you bring to the team<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>4+ years in IT project management, including 2+ years with Japanese clients.</li><li>Japanese (business/native), English (business), and Vietnamese (business).</li><li>Strong Agile project management experience and knowledge of SDLC.</li><li>Basic understanding of data pipelines, data warehouse/lake concepts.</li><li>Experience with AWS/Azure and Power BI is a plus.</li><li>Hospitality domain experience and PMP certification are preferred.</li></ul>#LI-VL1<h1>About us</h1>We’re a global, team of innovators.
