Subsequently evaluate the quality of actions proposed by management.</li><li>Manage, coach, and develop extended team (indirect reports) by setting clear expectations for timely, high-quality, and professional audit execution, while fostering ongoing professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.</li><li>Lead with integrity and be a valued business partner to Xylem’s business teams across the organization.</li><li>Participation in Xylem’s Watermark volunteer activities.</li></ul><h2> Qualifications:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or Accounting is required; a Master’s of Business Administration or Master’s degree in an audit/compliance discipline would be considered a plus.</li><li>At least one professional designation (CPA, CIA, CFE) or other equivalent designation is required. </li><li>Minimum of 7 years of audit experience with an internationally recognized accounting firm and/or a large manufacturing enterprise is required with in-depth understanding of auditing Sarbanes Oxley compliance.</li><li>High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li><li>Strong English communication skills, including written and spoken, is required. The ability to speak a second language (Spanish or Portuguese) is a plus.</li><li>Attention to detail, strong multi-project management and business partnership skills are necessary.</li><li>Previous team and project management experience is also required; experience managing at least one direct report is beneficial.</li><li>Workiva experience is a plus.</li><li>15% to 25% travel (sometimes international/overnight) is required for this position.</li><li>Note: This is a position with high visibility that offers the potential ability to relocate in the future.
