Aspiration has raised over $550M in funding to date and is growing quickly. The Chief of Staff is a crucial role in driving Aspiration to the next stage of growth. As an integral member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO, the right person for this role will prioritize, communicate, organize, and make independent decisions on issues that range from strategic to tactical at any given time. Therefore, having the right balance of forward thinking and project management is key.Quantitatively, the ideal candidate will effectively demonstrate analytical thinking, task-orientation, understanding of effective processes, speaking and presentation skills, and depth and breadth in business insight and judgement.Qualitatively, the ideal candidate will be able to effectively build partnerships and alliances up, down, and across the organization; is self-driven, curious, and motivated by opportunities to solve problems and propose ways to improve current practices. What You'll Do
Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the CEO and a sounding board for new ideas and initiatives.
As a force multiplier of the CEO, you will provide thought leadership and help drive a variety of strategic projects across all functions and teams within the company, maximizing the CEO’s reach.
Lead the preparation and production of all executive presentations, including but not limited to business reviews, internal and external speaking engagements, offsites, and events.
Drive the internal communication function by developing and managing communications on behalf of the CEO.
Lead and coordinate strategic planning activities by providing key topics, establishing succinct reports, and providing other information to enable the CEO to understand where the business is and what needs to be addressed; advise on situations that require additional support or escalation.
Work with the executive team to define and communicate strategic goals for the organization and communicate a shared vision across the team and with partners across the company.
Lead cross-organizational planning and special projects on behalf of the CEO, maximizing the CEO’s reach and facilitating transfer of knowledge and effective decision-making throughout the organization.
Build, develop and support relationships with key stakeholders internally and key partnerships externally.
Assist the CEO to strategically align time with key priorities, milestones, deadlines, and decisions to maximize execution.
Drive best practices, communication, and coordination between the CEO and other executives as well as other key stakeholders to enable effective collaboration across the organization.
Provide decisions and recommendations supported by research, analysis of information, and clear presentation of considerations.
Successfully complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the team's ability to effectively execute on top priorities.
Own strategic initiatives that will help drive business growth and operational improvements, including identifying and analyzing opportunistic corporate and business development opportunities.
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in a startup or high-growth company, wearing multiple hats and taking a cross-functional approach to solving and driving business priorities.
Strong background in product development preferred with focus on consumer products and services
Willingness to take initiative with a strong bias towards action and have a consistent track record of delivering results by doing whatever it takes, with integrity and our core values in mind.
Able to comfortably dive into any area of the business or product and figure things out with minimal support.

Constantly mining a list of prospects, aggressively framing a negotiation, and setting up internal meetings before calling external parties.
Impeccably organized, with deep knowledge in project management models, tools, and best approaches.
Dedicated to learning, open minded, self-aware, and a seeker of change and improvement.
Able to exercise discretion when dealing with highly confidential information and can be trusted to handle sensitive matters accordingly.
MBA or comparable education is preferred.
5+ years of work experience in a business or executive management role / advisor to CEO
