We are present on four continents and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway. Main purpose of positionCurrently we are looking for a Site HV Electrical Quality Technician, Buciumi Project - Romania, to join our global team. You will proactively evaluate works performed in site to assess compliance with quality requirements during construction as per project documentation and guiding the field team by supporting in the implementation of tools established by the organization under the guidance of the site quality manager of the quality management system.Project location – Comuna Buciumi, Judetul Bacau Main responsibilities <ul> <li>Manage the site quality inspectors, support the site quality manager and ensure that quality goals are achieved </li> <li>Implement and monitor site quality management system in their discipline </li> <li>Highlight field issues that directly impact quality of the plant </li> <li>Maintain inspection and concession registers </li> <li>Implement NCR process in site and maintain NCR register </li> <li>Complaints and feedback to and from the contractor </li> <li>Assist with internal and contractor audits </li> <li>Keep and update red-line and calibration registers </li> <li>Create project-specific quality documentation to ensure proper implementation of the quality management system. </li> <li>Perform inspections and follow-up on punch items </li> <li>Review and follow up on contractor’s quality management system implementation </li> <li>Sign off on contractor’s quality inspection reports </li> <li>Compile quality data packages for TTO </li></ul>Qualifications and competencies <ul> <li>Education in Electrical Engineering </li> <li>Knowledge in ISO 9001:2008 </li> <li>Certification in Quality Control</li> <li>3-5 years’ experience working on medium to large size preferably in HV Substations or Transmission Lines </li> <li>Experience with the implementation of quality management systems in construction </li> <li>Leading teams efficiently in fast-faced environments. </li> <li>Proactively follow progress in the field and do quality inspections</li> <li>Reading and interpretation of construction drawings.</li> <li>Hands-on: understanding of being interested in how things work out in the field</li> <li>A sound understanding of commercial impact of quality decisions on the project.</li> <li>Skilled at identifying project critical success factors and adopting appropriate risk management practices </li> <li>Broad understanding of quality principles and ability to oversee their implementation </li> <li>Language: Fluent both written and spoken in Romanian and English</li></ul>Additional information: 12 month contract, driver license Personal characteristicsIt is part of every employee’s term of reference to contribute to Scatec's vision: Improving our Future and adhering to our company values which are:<ul> <li>Predictable: demonstrate clear communication and listening skills, share information in an open and honest way</li> <li>Driving results: demonstrate determination, proactiveness, prioritize and work independently</li> <li>Changemaker: demonstrate entrepreneurship, can challenge, fast learner, take initiates and adjust</li> <li>Working together: demonstrate teamwork, shares responsibilities, can compromise, has a can-do attitude</li></ul>We offerScatec is an exciting, innovative and ambitious company operating in a growing industry.
