This includes preparation of the company’s statutory financial statements, related financial statement disclosures, and external reporting.  This position reports to the Manager or Senior Manager of Statutory Financial Reporting but works independently with peers and leaders across the organization.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Performs the statutory financial statement preparation for assigned functions.  Includes journal entry preparation, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, as well as coordinating work requirements and deadlines with other departments.</li><li>As part of the preparation of statutory statements and schedules for assigned functions; researches and resolves variances and inconsistencies by conducting initial investigation and applying accounting techniques.</li><li>Completes statutory filing requirements for assigned functions including quarterly and annual statements as well as various supplemental reporting.
