<div> Job Title: Market Fundamentals Intern Department: Commercial Reports to: Director, Market Strategy &amp; Fundamentals Effective Date:  Summer 2026 Location: Remote Travel: Up to 10% POSITION PURPOSE:    This is a temporary, non-exempt position reporting to the Director, Market Strategy &amp; Fundamentals. The Market Fundamentals Intern will be responsible for conducting energy market data analysis and research in support of KCE’s market fundamentals function. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Organizing and processing energy market data across a variety of formats and platforms (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Orennia ION, FERC EQR) </li></ul><ul><li>Supporting data analysis and interpretation of key trends </li></ul><ul><li>Assisting in the preparation of PowerPoint slide decks and research presentations </li></ul><ul><li>Contribute to the creation and updates of price and revenue curves </li></ul><ul><li>All other duties as required </li></ul>WORK EXPERIENCE &amp; REQUIREMENTS:  <ul><li>Familiarity with U.S. power and gas markets a plus </li></ul><ul><li>Advanced data analysis skills in Excel and similar formats </li></ul><ul><li>Coding ability (e.g., SQL, Python) a plus </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with nodal analysis software (e.g., DAYZER) a plus </li></ul><ul><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills </li></ul>Physical Requirements:  <ul><li>Prolonged periods of working on a computer </li></ul> </div>
