Twelve is a new kind of chemical company built for the climate era. Our breakthrough technology eliminates emissions by turning CO2 into essential products. We are a team of scientists, engineers and problem solvers on a mission to fundamentally shift the way the world addresses climate change and lead the transition to a fossil free future with our carbon transformation technology.
The Electrochemistry team is responsible for testing the performance of membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) for Twelve’s electrochemical CO2 reduction process under a range of conditions. As an Electrochemical Test Engineer, you will be tasked with understanding the core operating principles that influence the electrochemical performance of our reactors. In this role, you will be designing and performing experiments that inform further improvements to the key active materials in Twelve’s CO2 electrolyzer. This will involve setting up electrochemical tests and analyzing the data to report to project stakeholders, managing electrochemical test stands to consistently produce quality data, and taking part in experimental planning meetings.
