The team consists of Test Engineers with a variety of experience and age. It is an engaged group that have a large focus on delivering value and knowledge to the development. We work in an agile manner and try to continuously improve our way of working, which gives you the opportunity to be part of shaping the future of our development. The team works closely with the SW developers, guiding them in creating testcases and making sure the test-cases are compatible with our Hardware-in-the-loop rigs. When necessary you will also need to design and develop the rigs to support the new features that are being developed. There is close cooperation with our Product Owners and System Integration Test-team, with whom you will review and analyze requirements and plan where and how tests shall be performed. When there is time for a release the team oversee the build process and make sure the software is build using a Jenkins pipeline. Examples of you daily tasks:<ul><li>Write and review testcases in Python</li><li>Analyzing daily test runs</li><li>Review and analyze system requirements</li><li>Design, build and update HIL rig</li><li>Aiding in expanding out testing framework XPTP</li></ul>You will do this by using:<ul><li>PyCharm</li><li>Linux Debian</li><li>Jenkins</li><li>The Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence)</li><li>Embedded Linux (Yocto)</li><li>Zephyr (RTOS)</li><li>XPTP (Xylem Performance Test Platform)</li></ul> In this role we see you as a driven person that likes to discuss solutions and strategies, around testing. You understand embedded systems and the limitations they have and how to verify their functionality. Since we depend heavily on our Hardware-in-the-loop rig and the automation equipment that they are built with, a deep understanding of hardware and logic around automation is beneficial.
