This high-visibility role demands technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to excel in a complex, fast-paced environment.  Our Corporate Supplier Industrialization team empowers the rapid industrialization of innovative products. The Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams and suppliers to balance design innovation with robust manufacturing for optimal quality. To be successful in this role, you must possess deep technical expertise in implementing quality and reliability best practices, driving innovation, and ensuring product validation. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional performance, leadership, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. The Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer will play a key role in developing and industrializing Suspension systems at supplier sites to ensure the success of the Lucid programs. <div> </div><div>YOU WILL;  <ul><li>Handle complex Supply Chains between directed Tiers between Asia / Europe / Americas. </li><li>Develop, manage, and improve the APQP process with suppliers from the initial design stage through PPAP submission and the start of mass production. </li><li>Lead design review and ensure manufacturing needs (DFM/A) for Interior commodities are considered in the design phase and that proper quality expectations are defined. </li><li>Be responsible for driving and tracking all tier suppliers Engineering Design Change activities. </li><li>Work cross functional with Studio, Design Engineering, Purchasing, New Projects Implementation, Plant level Manufacturing, Incoming Quality, Material Planning and Plant SQEs to ensure the proper development of the suspension components as well as making sure Lucid plants and final customers are protected. </li><li>Perform supplier assessments, audits and site inspections for sourcing; develop process improvement plans and drive implementation; monitor and maintain performance metrics. </li><li>Have ability to travel 25-75% on average on a short term or long-term basis to Lucid Motors and supplier sites globally on a short notice. </li><li>Document processes and compliance with ISO9001 and AIAG/ IATF16949 industry standards. </li><li>Analyze data from supplier and assembly plant builds to assess capability of meeting requirements to complete the build. </li></ul> You Bring:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering or related field. </li><li>Minimum 8 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing or assembly plant environments within Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, R&amp;D, or Manufacturing Engineering. Automotive industry experience preferred. </li><li>At least 6 years of hands-on APQP and PPAP project management. </li><li>Experience with Interior components and manufacturing processes such as: Interior Trims Manufacturing, Wrapping Processes, Coverstock (Textile, PVC, PUR, Real Leather), Cut/Sew Processes, Injection Molding, Ultrasonic/Infrared/Heat Stake Welding, Adhesives, End Of Line Testers (Continuity / Functional / Visual / Scanning), Best-in-class Traceability.         </li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and drawings. In-depth knowledge of chassis quality standards and specifications. </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of product quality lifecycle stages and associated quality gates. </li><li>Proven analytical skills, technical writing proficiency, and mastery of quality tools (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, DOE, DFM/A, GD&amp;T). </li><li>Proven ability to collaborate effectively, leverage data, and innovate solutions. </li><li>Demonstrated adaptability and strong problem-solving orientation. </li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on timely delivery </li></ul> Preferred:<ul><li>Master’s degree in engineering. </li><li>Certification - American Society for Quality, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc. </li></ul> At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
