Join us and help meet one of the most important energy challenges of our time while building a rewarding career. Summary Cypress Creek Energy is seeking a highly motivated candidate to monitor the daily operation of a rapidly growing portfolio of utility-scale PV plants. The Control Center Operator will perform continuous real-time monitoring and control of Solar Facility performance, energy yield, and output.  The candidate will be trained in the essential knowledge and skills necessary to monitor and operate utility-scale solar generation facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Complete initial operator training program designed to prepare candidates to independently perform remote monitoring and operation of solar facilities.</li><li>Closely monitor the day-to-day operation of numerous 2MW to 100MW solar projects.</li><li>Respond to DAS Alerts, SCADA Alarms, and abnormal facility conditions by alerting appropriate parties.</li><li>Act as point of contact for field technicians, remote plant operators, utilities, and transmission operators regarding performance, control, and schedules for solar facilities.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining availability levels at each solar facility as well as following curtailment directives.</li><li>Perform daily reporting of solar facility performance.</li><li>Data analysis of underperforming systems.</li><li>Aid field technicians with system troubleshooting and providing routine dispatch.</li></ul> Preferred Education and/or Work Experience:<ul><li>BS in a technical field of study, Engineering preferred</li><li>Knowledge of power generation design or operations</li><li>Knowledge of PV systems, including DC systems, AC medium voltage systems, and network communications and monitoring</li><li>Diagnostic capabilities to troubleshoot and correct problems found via DAS/SCADA</li><li>Ability to read and understand electrical single-line and three-line diagrams</li><li>Proficiency with MS Office suite</li><li>Experience working with a CMMS platform (preferably for power generation facility)</li><li>Experience working with DAS and/or SCADA systems</li></ul> Other Requirements/Work Environment:<ul><li>Work is to be performed in an office environment</li><li>After the initial training phase, this position will perform a 12-hour shift schedule and candidate is expected to be available holidays/weekends as required.</li><li>Valid Driver’s License</li><li>Ability to obtain unescorted access for NERC/CIP facilities</li><li>Embrace and live by the mission and values of Cypress Creek Energy</li></ul><div>Benefits:</div><ul><li>15 days of Paid Time Off, accrual up to 20 days, 11 observed holidays</li><li>401(k) Match</li><li>Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision and health insurance</li><li>Wellness stipend, family planning stipend, and generous parental leave</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li><li>Phone Bill Reimbursement</li></ul>Location: Durham, NCA note to Recruiting Agencies Cypress Creek Energy Human Resources team does not accept unsolicited resumes from third party recruiters, staffing firms, or related agencies.
