AECOM is seeking an experienced Resident Construction Manager to help oversee construction of a major wastewater system expansion in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The program includes:<ul><li>New 1.125 MGD Satellite Treatment Facility, including:</li><li>New headworks/screening facility</li><li>Flow equalization and primary clarification prior to final treatment at the existing WWTF</li><li>New sludge processing for thickening/dewatering </li><li>Expansion of the Town’s gravity sewer collection system town‑wide including 9 new submersible pumping stations, gravity sewers, force mains and approximately 500 sewer connections </li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Construction Start: Spring 2026</li><li>Satellite Treatment Facility completion: End of 2028</li><li>Collection system expansion completion: End of 2030</li></ul>Key Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:<ul><li>Verify that AECOM’s construction subcontractors are performing work in accordance with the design plans and specifications.</li><li>Verify field safety and environmental monitoring programs are being properly implemented.</li><li>Verify subcontractor compliance with federal, state, and local permits.</li><li>Address subcontractor requests for information and changes in field conditions. Coordinate response with project management and design team.</li><li>Issue written field directives with assistance from project management and design engineers.</li><li>Document daily construction activity with daily reports and photographs.</li><li>Monitor delivery of equipment and materials for compliance with contract specifications.</li><li>Maintain construction and startup schedules.</li><li>Provide Department of Public Works (DPW) staff with regular updates regarding ongoing construction activity, look ahead schedule, and field issues.</li><li>Assist DPW staff with drafting public notices.</li><li>Address public questions and concerns.</li><li>Coordinate door-to-door notification in upcoming work areas during collection system expansion.</li><li>·Review subcontractor invoices and proposed change orders.</li><li>·Manage startup and commissioning of AECOM procured equipment.</li><li>Verify field testing is performed in accordance with contract documents. Coordinate AECOM procured testing services.</li><li>Maintain record drawing red line markups. Obtain record drawing information from AECOM subcontractors.</li><li>Develop closeout punch lists. Track and document completion.</li><li>·Assist project team with submittal review. Monitor submittal, RFI, and O&amp;M logs.</li><li>Track installation of AIS and BABA equipment and materials.</li><li>Help coordinate support of state and local agencies that require site visits and inspections.</li><li>Attend and have ability to lead meetings with project team, subcontractors, and Town staff.</li><li>Assist DBO operations team troubleshoot issues that occur within existing collection system or at existing facilities. Help coordinate solutions with AECOM management team and lead process engineer.</li><li>Support DBO project team with final design development for upcoming work.</li></ul>
