Duties include: (i) analyzing and processing authorized requisitions by establishing sources of supply and issuingfinancially binding purchase orders to obtain needed materials and services; (ii) maintaining thedesign of the current and future product design changes according to market needs; (iii) implementing sourcing strategies and supplier relationships; (iv) creating plans to achieve cost saving targets; (v) negotiating purchase contracts and follow-ups on delivery and quality compliance; (vi) recommending design change to customer product and initiating new supply programs; and (vii) researching to benchmark suppliers and processes.
