Product-specific training will be provided.<h2>Essential Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Evaluate, repair, and test submersible wastewater pumps.</li><li>Perform basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.</li><li>Operate shop equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment.</li><li>Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.</li><li>Accurately document work in the work-order system.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.</li><li>Work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Support a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><h3>Education</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Trade school or technical training in electromechanical systems or a related field preferred, but not required.</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>0–2 years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or hands-on experience.</li><li>Recent graduates and individuals early in their technical careers are encouraged to apply.</li></ul><h3>Skills</h3><ul><li>Basic to intermediate electrical and mechanical aptitude.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to read and understand technical information.</li><li>Comfortable using computers, tablets, and basic software tools.</li><li>Ability to learn new equipment, processes, and technical skills.</li></ul><h2>Work Environment and Physical Requirements</h2><ul><li>Work is performed in an industrial shop environment.</li><li>Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including hard hats and other safety equipment.</li><li>Exposure to noise, machinery, and occasional hazardous materials.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Overtime and occasional travel may be required.</li></ul><h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>The estimated pay range for this position is $26 to $29 per hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
