We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with a passion for industrial data and analytics. This role focuses on developing robust data pipelines and analytics solutions for time-series data generated from heating, refrigeration, and process equipment. You will play a key role in transforming raw industrial data into actionable insights, supporting digital product development and operational excellence.Responsibilities / Tasks<ul><li>Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines (batch &amp; streaming) with a focus on time-series data from heating, refrigeration, and process equipment</li><li>Develop and operationalize advanced analytics workflows by integrating data from multiple industrial and enterprise sources</li><li>Work closely with Data Analysts and Digital Product teams to enable data-driven product features and insights</li><li>Contribute to and enhance the GEA Cloud Analytics Platform in collaboration with the Digital Hub</li><li>Ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelines and platforms</li><li>Apply modern software engineering practices (version control, CI/CD, code reviews)</li><li>Actively participate in the Data Engineering / Data Science Guild to drive knowledge sharing and standardization</li><li>Build reusable, modular, and efficient data solutions using state-of-the-art tools</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field</li><li>2–5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles</li><li>Strong experience in building robust and scalable data pipelines</li><li>Hands-on experience with Spark / Databricks or similar big data frameworks</li><li>Strong programming skills in Python and SQL</li><li>Experience handling time-series data, industrial IoT, or real-time analytics (highly preferred)</li><li>Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data architecture</li><li>Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development</li><li>Strong communication skills with fluency in English</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
