The Arden campus offers a multitude of career opportunities and is in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.The Human Resources Intern will receive hands-on opportunities to learn Generalist &amp; Specialist HR Support functions from the perspective of a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier. This role will primarily focus on day-to-day administrative HR tasks and some project based work.  Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in standardization and digitalization of employee records</li><li>Assist HR Business Partners with onboarding tasks</li><li>Develop and implement communications campaigns for the following topics:<ul><li>Environmental, Health &amp; Safety</li><li>Outreach activities</li><li>Learning &amp; Development Activities</li></ul></li><li>Assist in management of Arden Student Program including but not limited to recruitment, event planning, and onboarding/offboarding.</li><li>Support HR team with data quality audits utilizing our HRIS platform</li><li>Assist in training course creation for various mandatory and optional training for hourly workforce.</li><li>Additional tasks as assigned by HR/EHS Team members.</li></ul>What we are looking for<ul><li>Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Management, with a minimum GPA 3.0</li><li>Preferred course work completed in two or more of the following areas: Recruitment &amp; Personnel Planning, Employment Laws &amp; Regulations, Org Development, Compensation &amp; Benefits, Training &amp; Development, Marketing, Professional Development, and/or Payroll</li><li>Previous business work experience is a plus</li><li>A flexible part-time schedule is available up to 30 hours per week.</li><li>Student must be self-driven and able to accomplish entry-level HR tasks with decreasing supervision</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills are required</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of all privileged information</li><li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>Proficient in English</li></ul>What we offerAll positions start at an above market pay rate for that position.
