Design, analyze, and evaluate systems to create assembly drawings, schematics, and part drawings.  2. Prepare specifications, proposals for contracts, Bills of Materials, control schematics, outline drawings, and assembly drawings to process orders based on customer specifications and standards.3. Act as principal investigator or lead a group of engineers investigating problems, developing solutions, and preparing related recommendations and reports.4. Analyze new proposals, requirements, specifications, and products.6. Participate in group meetings and conferences; interact with internal and external customers to resolve significant technical issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and develop related action plans.7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design and performance.Qualifications/ Background:1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical engineering or related field and 5 to 7 or more years of experience; alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.2. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of dielectrics, thermal behavior, electrical stress, and the mechanical strength of assemblies and components.3. Preferably, the candidate has experience in developing electromechanical products, particularly with power transformer components. This experience is highly desired but not mandatory.
