This is a highly execution-focused role for someone who thrives on closing deals, building pipeline from the ground up, and turning early conversations into contracted revenue. You will operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, working both existing relationships and new opportunities to accelerate timelines and bring Phoenix’s materials into critical supply chains as quickly as possible.</span><span> </span></p></div><div> </div><br><br><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><div><div><div><li><span>Generate and convert a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities across defense, automotive, clean technology, and advanced manufacturing sectors </span></li><li><span>Identify and directly engage key decision-makers across Tier 1 OEMs and strategic supply chain partners </span></li><li><span>Originate, negotiate, and close long-term offtake agreements and commercial partnerships that drive bankable offtakes  and production scaling </span><span> </span></li><li><span>Structure complex commercial agreements, including pricing, volume commitments, and risk-sharing mechanisms aligned with customer and company objectives </span><span> </span></li><li><span>Translate Phoenix Tailings’ technical capabilities into clear, compelling commercial value propositions tailored to customer needs </span><span> </span></li><li><span>Leverage and expand existing relationships to accelerate deal timelines and unlock new opportunities within partner organizations </span><span> </span></li><li><span>Navigate multi-layered supply chains to position Phoenix materials within end-customer specifications and procurement pathways </span><span> </span></li><li><span>Capture and synthesize market feedback to inform production priorities, product development, and go-to-market strategy </span><span> </span></li></div></div></div></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><div><div><li><span>10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial roles with a strong emphasis on closing deals </span></li><li><span>Proven track record of securing and executing complex, multi-million-dollar agreements with large industrial or government-linked organizations </span></li><li><span>Experience selling into or partnering with Tier 1 suppliers, OEMs, or defense contractors </span><span> </span></li><li><span>Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to structure sophisticated agreements and evaluate trade-offs quickly </span><span> </span></li><li><span>Deep understanding of industrial supply chains, procurement processes, and long-cycle sales environments </span><span> </span></li><li><span>Ability to operate independently, generate leads, and drive deals forward in ambiguous and rapidly evolving markets</span></li><li><span>Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred</span><span> </span></li></div></div></ul><h3>Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing complex, multidisciplinary initiatives.   Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences. </h3><ul><p><span style="font-size:16px;">This pay range reflects best estimate for the total cash compensation which includes salary + discretionary bonus for this role.
