If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p></p><p>We are looking for a Sr. Vehicle Dynamics Technician to help develop a state-of-the-art electric vehicle with a passionate team. Our ideal candidate understands vehicle suspension, steering and brake systems—preferably with motorsport or dynamics tuning experience.</p><p>The Role</p><ul><li>Support preparation, component upgrades, and maintenance of vehicle dynamics prototype fleet</li><li>Perform and streamline component swaps (springs, stabilizer bars, dampers, bushings, etc.) during tuning sessions</li><li>Collaborate with development team to deliver world-class ride and handling attributes</li><li>Travel and/or transport vehicles to test tracks around the country, including proving grounds, winter test, press events, and racetracks</li><li>Install robust data acquisition systems on prototype vehicles: accelerometers, strain gauges, thermocouples, pressure transducers, CAN, etc.</li><li>Troubleshoot and document mechanical and electric issues, including fabrication where necessary</li><li>Drive vehicles to evaluate vehicle health status, test features</li><li>Create and develop service and maintenance documents (service manual procedure, containments, etc.)</li><li>Critical thinking skills without instruction manuals or workbooks</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Automotive technician degree or equivalent work experience</li><li>Proven record of innovation and problem solving</li><li>Experience with high-performance or luxury vehicles</li><li>Ability to travel (40-50%)</li><li>Must own a professional automotive toolbox</li><li>Available to work overtime, evenings, and weekends when needed</li><li>Technical and mechanical skill-set</li><li>Proficient with hand and power tools</li><li>Able to handle numerous ambiguity projects simultaneously with ease</li><li>Extremely high attention to safety and details</li><li>Proof of excellence in your past position</li><li>Experience using electrical test equipment</li><li>Team player, willing to learn and have a positive attitude</li><li>Wire harness building (soldering, crimping, splicing) etc.</li></ul><p>Advantageous</p><ul><li>Motorsport background</li><li>Working knowledge of CAN, electronics, and data logging</li><li>Fabrication/Welding skills</li><li>Understanding of high-voltage vehicle systems</li></ul><p><span> </span>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
