The team is dedicated to delivering the highest value for its customers, partners, financial supporters and the communities in which it works, while exhibiting a strong commitment to promoting environmental stewardship and corporate responsibility. Pattern Energy operates in the United States and Canada, with offices in San Francisco, Houston, San Diego and New York.  Pattern Energy Group LP's corporate headquarters are in San Francisco. JOB PURPOSE The position will lead and develop the team(s) to meet various obligations required for power generation at a Pattern Energy operating site.   <h2>Responsibilities</h2>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES <ul> <li>Support the Facility Manager in all areas of the Pattern operating site. Ensure a positive working environment by maintaining discipline, morale, and employee relations.</li> <li>Lead the use of maintenance documentation, reporting tools and performance systems necessary for reporting and performance improvement.</li> <li>Provide hands-on technical support and supervision for generation equipment, power delivery systems and overall BOP maintenance and repairs, as well as with other facility civil work, building maintenance and upkeep.</li> <li>Enable teammates’ ability and awareness to work safely and stop work as required. Support driving the injury-free workplace culture by facilitating safe work habits, hazard recognition, risk assessment, peer to peer feedback, andproper use of human performance tools.Manage site specific and corporate procedures, policies, training programs, safety programs and work practices and related updates as required.</li> <li>Balance and support facility public relations and community interactions.</li> <li>Maintain regulatory compliance with all Federal, state and local regulations and associated permits. Ensure obligations are met using the CMMS.</li></ul>    <h2>Qualifications</h2>EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIRED  Required Work Experience <ul> <li>Supervision and  technical  experience  in  the  power  generation  industry  or related fields. </li> <li>Proficient with computers and with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.</li></ul> Education ·       College diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent experience   Additional Requirements  <ul> <li>Must reside within 80KM of the facility’s O&amp;M building.</li> <li>Ability to climb turbine tower &gt; 100m.</li> <li>Candidates must be willing and able to work with high workloads in stressful conditions and in physically demanding settings while maintaining professional, non-confrontational behavior and demonstrating the utmost ethical value Examples include, but are not limited to, traveling, participation with climbing, harsh temperatures, extreme driving conditions, various 24/7 working hours, and supporting other business units and locations as needed.</li></ul> The expected starting pay range for this role is $98,000 - $120,000 CAD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
