Solar Construction Safety Management<ul><li>Implement and enforce the Project HSE Plan for solar farm construction</li><li>Oversee safety during:<ul><li>PV module installation</li><li>Mounting structure assembly</li><li>DC cabling and inverter installation</li><li>Substation and grid interconnection works</li></ul></li><li>Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard assessments</li><li>Ensure proper use of PPE specific to solar works (arc flash, electrical safety)</li></ul>Electrical &amp; High-Risk Activity Safety<ul><li>Monitor and control risks related to:<ul><li>DC electrical systems (live current hazards)</li><li>Energization and commissioning activities</li><li>Work at heights (panel installation, structures)</li><li>Lifting operations (modules, trackers, equipment)</li><li>Excavation and trenching for cable routing</li></ul></li><li>Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during electrical works</li><li>Ensure compliance with safe energization protocols</li></ul>Environmental Compliance (Solar Project Focus)<ul><li>Ensure compliance with DENR regulations and ECC requirements</li><li>Monitor:<ul><li>Land disturbance and erosion control</li><li>Waste management (packaging, panels, hazardous waste)</li><li>Dust, noise, and site runoff</li></ul></li><li>Promote environmental sustainability aligned with renewable energy goals</li></ul>Regulatory Compliance &amp; Standards<ul><li>Ensure compliance with:<ul><li>DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS)</li><li>AFRY HSE policies</li><li>Client and EPC contractor requirements</li></ul></li><li>Support implementation of:<ul><li>ISO 45001 (Occupational Health &amp; Safety)</li><li>ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)</li></ul></li></ul>Training &amp; Safety Culture<ul><li>Conduct solar-specific safety inductions for all workers</li><li>Lead toolbox talks focused on:<ul><li>Electrical safety</li><li>Heat stress management (open-field solar sites)</li><li>Manual handling of solar panels</li></ul></li><li>Promote a proactive and incident-free safety culture</li></ul>Incident Management &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions</li><li>Prepare detailed HSE reports and corrective action plans</li><li>Track and report KPIs (TRIR, LTIFR, near misses, audit findings)</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Maintain HSE documentation, permits, and compliance records</li><li>Coordinate with:<ul><li>Project Manager</li><li>EPC contractors</li><li>Client representatives</li><li>Government agencies (DOLE, DENR)</li></ul></li></ul>
