By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass on savings to customers.We are looking for a hands-on and technically skilled 2nd Line IT Engineer with strong Network Engineering experience to keep Fuse running at full speed. You will own the day-to-day technical environment across two office locations, ensuring our networks, infrastructure and end-user hardware operate reliably so we can focus on building the future of energy. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable owning issues end-to-end, from conferencing hardware to a firewall policy change. <h3>Responsibilities</h3>You will manage the networks, on-site infrastructure and hardware that our team relies on every day and will work closely with the wider IT and engineering teams to design, deploy, secure and support our environment.<ul><li>Work across our London based offices, external sites and our growing cloud presence</li><li>Administer, manage and update our office networks, firewalls and internet related infrastructure.</li><li>Build and maintain our on-premise servers and storage infrastructure</li><li>Own all office hardware problems: laptops, meeting room AV and printers</li><li>Provide 2nd line support and assist in onboard/offboard staff</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven 2nd line IT experience with network engineering responsibilities</li><li>Cisco networking experience with a CCNA (or equivalent)</li><li>Hands-on experience configuring and managing FortiGate firewalls</li><li>Strong grasp of core networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi)</li><li>Confident supporting on-site servers and end-user hardware (Windows/macOS)</li></ul><h3>Desirable</h3><ul><li>Experience supporting IT in a SaaS environment</li><li>AWS cloud experience</li><li>Additional networking or security certifications (e.g. CCNP, Fortinet NSE)</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Biannual bonus scheme</li><li>Fully expensed tech to match your needs</li><li>Paid annual leave</li><li>Breakfast and dinner allowance for office based employees</li></ul>
