To support our continued growth, we are hiring a temporary, onsite Bulk Logistics Intern in State College, PA. The individual hired for this position will support our Bulk Logistics Planner with day-to-day operational and transactional logistics activities. This role is designed for a motived student or recent graduate interested in supply chain, logistics, operations or business and is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization. This individual will assist with coordinating shipments, maintaining logistics data, supporting execution tasks, and contributing to analytical and market intelligence projects.   Among other responsibilities, this position requires the knowledge, skills and ability to understand and execute the following:<ul><li>Logistics Coordination &amp; Execution<ul><li>Coordinate and schedule shipments with warehouses, carriers, and customers </li><li>Support shipment execution, tracking, and follow‑up to ensure timely delivery </li><li>Execute small parcel shipments (e.g., DHL, FedEx) for product trials, samples, and customer testing</li></ul></li><li>Operational &amp; Transactional Support<ul><li>Maintain and update inventory and logistics data in internal tracking tools with a high level of accuracy </li><li>Collect, organize, and track freight quotes from multiple carriers</li><li>Support the Bulk Logistics Planner with day‑to‑day operational and transactional logistics activities</li></ul></li><li>Analysis &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Assist with ad‑hoc analysis related to logistics operations, pricing, market intelligence, and supply chain initiatives </li><li>Prepare reports, summaries, and data to support ongoing and special projects</li></ul></li></ul> This individual will report to our Bulk Logistics Planner. WHAT YOU’LL GAIN<ul><li>Hands‑on experience in bulk logistics coordination and execution </li><li>Exposure to freight management and supply chain operations </li><li>Opportunities to support analytical, pricing, and market intelligence projects </li><li>Mentorship and collaboration with experienced supply chain professionals</li></ul> KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas: <ul><li>Fundamental understanding of supply chain and logistics principles </li><li>Basic knowledge of shipping methods, carriers, and warehouse operations </li><li>Familiarity with inventory tracking and data management concepts </li><li>Awareness of logistics execution processes and freight coordination</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel </li><li>Ability to work with data, spreadsheets, and basic supply chain metrics </li><li>Analytical thinking with the ability to support ad‑hoc reporting and analysis</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities </li><li>Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams </li><li>Strong problem‑solving skills, including identifying issues and proposing solutions </li><li>Professional communication with internal teams, warehouses, carriers, and customers</li></ul> EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE<ul><li>Recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field </li><li>Previous internship experience or relevant coursework in logistics or supply chain</li></ul> MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS <ul><li>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
