The Role reports to the CFT Engineering Manager.Role Responsibilities<ul><li>A ‘hands-on’ manager who will develop software, line manage developers and influence architectural decisions.</li><li>Build and Review client connectivity applications to maximise maintainability, stability, performance and scalability.</li><li>Be a team player and closely work with Architecture, QA Team, Business Analysts, Product Managers, Project Manager / Agile Scrum Lead, Support Teams and other Stake Holders.</li><li>Work in a collaborative environment as part of a close team.</li><li>Manage Releases and Production Rollouts with Support teams.</li><li>Hands on involvement supporting production issues.</li></ul>Experience / CompetencesEssential<ul><li>Experience with leading a team of developers<ul><li>Conducting Appraisals and Technical Reviews.</li></ul></li><li>Broking / Trading / Banking business domain e.g. FX and Fixed Income</li><li>Strong communication skills.</li><li>Experience with building systems using FIX Protocol.</li><li>Senior-level experience with Java.</li><li>Experience with version control systems e.g. GitLab, GitHub.</li><li>Deploying and configuring applications running in Amazon Web Service (AWS) [EC2, ELB, EKS, AMI].</li><li>Developing software using Agile methodologies.</li><li>Level 3 Support for Production systems.</li><li>Delivering software using SAFe/Agile frameworks.</li><li>Knowledge of Observability technologies such as Grafana.</li></ul>Desired<ul><li>Experience using AI tools in a Development Environment e.g. AWS Kiro</li><li>Senior level experience with a scripting language such as Python.</li><li>Rapid Addition Platform or other FIX Messaging Hub.</li><li>Experience with DevOps/build technologies such Ansible, Jenkins, Maven and Groovy.</li><li>Experience with database technologies with SQL.</li><li>Experience with messaging platforms e.g. Solace.</li></ul>Role Band &amp; Level: Manager, 7#LI-Hybrid #LI-MIDNot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
