Contribute to decarbonization and electrification efforts while enjoying focused growth opportunities in sustainable practices and skills enhancement training centric to AECOM's Sustainable Legacy.Job Summary/Responsibilities<ul><li>Electrical engineering support from conceptual design through construction administration and post-occupancy.</li><li>Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.</li><li>Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.</li><li>Support in the review of shop drawings during the construction administration phase.</li><li>Works cooperatively with managers and other employees to achieve company's mission.</li><li>Stays current on codes and technologies appropriate to the electrical discipline.</li><li>Support on site visits for the purpose of data collection and evaluation of electrical systems, equipment, components and materials for projects.</li><li>Prepare design drawings and documents, technical specifications, calculations, and studies associated with electrical facility designs.</li><li>Complete electrical power and lighting designs for projects of all sizes.</li><li>Produces plans, specifications, reports, and other project related deliverables for projects.</li><li>Prepare one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, conduit and cable sizing/routing, selection of equipment.</li><li>Coordinates design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers.</li><li>Exercise judgment on details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.</li><li>Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings independently for review by senior staff.</li><li>Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.</li><li>Perform engineering-related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.</li><li>Maintains accurate project documentation and design data for permanent project files.</li><li>Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.</li><li>Utilizes software to perform lighting calculations.</li><li>Analyzes problems, writes reports and memos for internal and external purposes based on findings.</li><li>Perform site investigations and walk-downs of project sites.</li><li>Mentors/trains junior staff members.</li></ul>
