Summary:AECOM is seeking a mid-level Environmental Data Specialist with 2–6 years of experience supporting our enterprise environmental data management system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental data and terminology, good communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Gather, organize, and validate field data from environmental monitoring activities such as air, soil, and water quality assessments.</li></ul>·        Manage field and analytical data in relational database systems like EarthSoft EQuIS, Locus EIM or other environment databases.<ul><li>Conducting QA/QC for electronic data deliverables with laboratory analytical data to ensure quality.</li><li>Generating standardized report output through software tools like EQuIS or EIM.</li><li>Prepare environmental data summaries and compliance reports for submission to regulatory agencies.</li><li>Utilize statistical tools and predictive modeling techniques to assess environmental impacts and forecast trends.</li><li>Design and create dashboards and visualizations using platforms such as Power BI or EQuIS Enterprise.</li><li>Ensure data meets reporting standards and guidelines set by local, state, and federal authorities.</li><li>Responsible for generating Borelogs through multiple platforms like gINT or EQuIS.</li><li>Supporting legacy data migrations to EQuIS/EIM as needed, ensuring proper formatting and compatibility.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and team members, to achieve project objectives efficiently.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience: 2-6 years of relevant experience in environmental data management or consulting, with hands-on experience in EQuIS, LOCUS EIM, ESDAT or similar databases.</li><li>Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environment engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.</li></ul> Skills:<ul><li>Experience with environmental databases (e.g., EQuIS, EIM ESDAT, or similar) for organizing, storing, and retrieving data efficiently.</li><li>Proficiency in managing and analyzing environmental data from soil, water, and groundwater investigations.</li><li>Intermediate to the expert level understanding of Office 365, Excel, power query &amp; Power automation.</li><li>Basic understanding of MS SQL and T-SQL programming.</li><li>Managing environmental data for soil, surface water, and groundwater investigations across various environmental databases.</li><li>Knowledge of digital tools like Power BI, R Studio, KNIME Analytics, Python is a plus but not mandatory.</li></ul> Soft Skills:<ul><li>Expert level understanding of Office 365, Excel, power query &amp; Power automation.</li><li>Strong organizational skills, with experience prioritizing, time management and managing multiple tasks.</li><li>Effective communication skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams and clients.</li></ul>
