Role Summary: Responsible for end‑to‑end MRO procurement, ensuring uninterrupted plant operations by sourcingengineering spares, consumables, and services. Manages PVC/CPVC scrap sale with transparency andmaximized recovery. Drives supplier audits and procurement excellence initiatives to improve cost, quality,and process efficiency.Roles and Responsibility:<ul><li>Source and procure spares for extrusion lines, injection moulding machines, utilities, and plant equipment.</li><li>Purchase electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic spares, tools, PPE, and maintenance consumables.</li><li>Manage RFQs, negotiations, PO finalization, and delivery follow‑ups.</li><li>Support urgent breakdown requirements with timely procurement.</li><li>Develop alternate suppliers and drive cost‑saving/value engineering initiatives.</li><li>Manage AMCs for compressors, DG sets, HVAC, utilities, lab equipment, etc.</li><li>Handle PVC, CPVC, moulding scrap, grinder scrap, and packaging/metal scrap.</li><li>Prepare lots, conduct auctions/e‑tenders, and ensure compliance with GST &amp; documentation.</li><li>Monitor lifting, weighment, and ensure timely payments.</li><li>Benchmark market rates to maximize scrap realization.</li><li>Conduct supplier audits covering capability, quality systems, safety, and delivery performance</li><li>Maintain supplier scorecards and drive CAPA with underperforming suppliers.</li><li>Support vendor onboarding and compliance with QHSE and statutory requirements.</li><li>Support internal &amp; external procurement audits.</li><li>Maintain procurement trackers, savings reports, supplier audit records, and scrap sale MIS.</li><li>Ensure full ERP compliance (SAP).</li></ul>Requirement:<ul><li>Overall, with 8 - 10 Yrs of experience in procurement.</li><li>With Education Qualification of BE/ B.Tech/B.Com/MBA</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Experience in supplier audits and compliance.</li><li>Understanding of scrap handling processes.</li><li>Knowledge of contracts and legal compliance.</li><li>Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.</li><li>Proficient in using procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms).</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>High level of integrity and professionalism.</li><li>Support plant teams ie. operations, quality, stores and safety departments.</li><li>Vendor issue resolutions.</li><li>Coordinate with plant teams ie. operations, quality, stores and safety departments for smooth completion of activities.</li></ul>
