The QA Engineer is responsible for making sure all products meet company and industry quality standards. Responsibilities also include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.General Responsibilities • Designs, implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products • Conducts the planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution • Handles design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products • Conducts analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary • Develops methods for testing, sampling and training • May act as internal consultant by providing technical guidance on most complex projects • Works with quality inspection supervisors to train and oversee inspectors in their use of control forms, procedures, and correcting quality problemsExperience / Qualifications • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) • Strong interpersonal &amp; collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers<ul><li>Hands on working experience with AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA) </li></ul><ul><li>VDA &amp; IATF Quality Management Systems knowledge and or internal auditor experience </li></ul><ul><li>Shop floor / hands on experience as a Quality Engineer</li></ul><ul><li>New Product Launch experience, preferred in electronic components, and 1 + yrs. job experience </li></ul><ul><li>Time management skills (ability to manage time and resources to accomplish tasks) </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work independently and within our teams </li></ul><ul><li>Robust communication skills (written &amp; verbal) in English </li></ul><ul><li>MS Office, Oracle / Agile, Customer Web Portal capabilities </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to travel to individual Sensata, customer or sub supplier sites </li></ul><ul><li>Capture, document, apply Lessons Learned from NPD launches (Good and /or Poor experiences).  Use them to build a stronger NPD system and proactive approach for future launches </li></ul>Gross Annual Salary Range: €25,728.00 - €35,376.00The salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.Starting SalaryThe starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.).
