Reporting to the Lean Systems Manager, this role takes a hands-on, shop-floor-focused approach to building a strong lean culture and enabling continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and productivity.The Lean Systems Engineer applies core lean methodologies—including problem solving, standardization, waste elimination, and process optimization—to support operational teams and lead improvement projects. This role partners with employees at all levels to identify inefficiencies, implement sustainable solutions, and strengthen daily management systems.Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining lean tools and systems, supporting training programs, coaching teams on lean principles, and ensuring alignment with operational performance goals. The Lean Systems Engineer also plays a critical role in improving safety, reducing production issues, minimizing costs, and enhancing vehicle quality through structured continuous improvement.This position requires strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to influence teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
