We’re looking for a motivated, people-first Solar Area Sales Manager who thrives in the field, builds trust quickly, and knows how to turn conversations into long-term customer relationships.</p><p><br></p><p>In this role, you’ll guide homeowners and business owners through the solar journey from first contact to signed agreement by understanding their energy needs, presenting tailored solutions, and delivering a standout customer experience. You’ll work generated leads, develop referrals, manage your pipeline, and consistently push toward ambitious sales goals.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a full-time, field-based role with local travel, ideal for someone who’s competitive, organized, and passionate about clean energy.<br></p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Build strong customer relationships and close solar sales</li><li>Analyze energy usage and explain financial ROI</li><li>Create customized proposals and pricing</li><li>Manage your sales pipeline using a CRM</li><li>Follow up consistently to move deals forward</li><li>Hit (and exceed) sales targets</li><li>Grow referral and repeat business</li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul><li>2+ years of sales experience (solar or construction preferred)</li><li>CRM experience</li><li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation</li><li>Strong communication skills and self-motivation</li></ul>
