You'll work alongside experienced engineers and electricians in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, helping to keep every battery installation and service call safe, efficient, and successful. You'll learn by doing — and what you do will directly impact how we deliver affordable energy at scale.What You'll Do<ul style=""><li>Collaborate with Deployment Engineers to support field crews during live installations and service calls.</li><li>Participate in real-time troubleshooting alongside experienced engineers over phone, text, and Slack.</li><li>Support fleet monitoring using tools like Grafana and Retool to flag system health issues and surface trends.</li><li>Help create and maintain troubleshooting aids, hardware defect logs, and deployment playbooks.</li><li>Analyze patterns from field interactions to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.</li><li>Contribute to cross-team conversations with hardware, software, and Member Experience to share what's coming back from the field.</li></ul>What You'll Bring<ul style=""><li>Current junior or senior in an undergraduate program, or a graduate student, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.</li><li>Strong foundation in electrical concepts and fundamentals.</li><li>Passion for hands-on problem solving and working close to real-world systems.</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring or ticketing tools (e.g., Grafana, Retool, Jira, Odoo) is a plus.</li><li>Exposure to electrical code, hardware troubleshooting, or field operations is a plus.</li><li>Curious, self-motivated, and able to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>About this TeamDeployment Engineering is Base Power's mission control for field operations, acting as the real-time support system for our installation crews.
