As a Quality Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet rigorous standards for usability, safety, and performance. We offer competitive pay, training opportunities, and a chance to grow within a company that values innovation and quality.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Promote and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment through training, adherence to policies, and proactive housekeeping.</li><li>Perform inspection activities using PI tape, micrometers, and ovality gauges.</li><li>Ensure tools and equipment meet company standards.</li><li>Identify and resolve product quality issues.</li><li>Validate impact and skin testing processes.</li><li>Investigate non-conforming products and support corrective actions.</li><li>Support and mentor operators in quality procedures.</li><li>Collaborate on material trials and new product evaluations.</li><li>Monitor production output and run conditions to ensure compliance.</li><li>Complete documentation and quality reporting accurately.</li><li>Develop a strong understanding of operational processes and safety protocols.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>1–4 years of experience in a quality assurance or technician role.</li><li>Proficient in using hand tools.</li><li>Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Ability to stand, lift, and perform tasks for extended periods.</li><li>Must be able to wear required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection).</li><li>Ability to work 12-hour shifts and perform repetitive motions.</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Working on raised surfaces (ladders, machines, work platforms)</li><li>Regular work in a fluctuating temperature environment (indoor &amp; outdoor).</li><li>Exposure to grease, dirt, and some industrial chemicals.</li><li>The use of standard personal protective equipment is used and includes some of the following: safety glasses and splash shield, gloves and apron, safety shoes, harness, Hi-Vis clothing.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision coverage options</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Short- and Long-term Disability</li><li>401k and company match</li><li>Paid Holiday and Vacation</li><li>Reimburse COBRA costs while transitioning to IPEX benefits</li></ul>Harco Fittings LLC is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
