The successful candidate will become part of the team specialized in Hitachi Rail's product certification activities, working within a laboratory qualified according to the EN 17025 standard and operating in compliance with the company's quality management system. </div><div>The role involves laboratory activities, coordination of certification tests, and support for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the laboratory quality management system. </div>Responsibilities <ul><li>Perform Hitachi Rail laboratory activities, including both documentation-related tasks and hands-on testing activities. </li><li>Prepare Type Test documentation, including Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. </li><li>Set up test configurations and conduct laboratory testing on products. </li><li>Coordinate and oversee testing activities carried out at external laboratories accredited by ACCREDIA. </li><li>Verify and monitor laboratory equipment calibration activities and the related documentation. </li><li>Support the maintenance and updating of the laboratory Quality Management System. </li><li>Ensure the correct application of technical standards and metrological methodologies related to the tests performed. </li><li>Collaborate with certification bodies, customers, and accreditation organizations. </li><li>Travel for short- and medium-term assignments, mainly within Italy. </li></ul>Required Skills/Knowledge<ul><li>Ability to use measurement instruments and laboratory equipment. </li><li>Capability to perform and supervise certification testing activities. </li><li>Knowledge of technical documentation related to testing and validation activities. </li><li>Ability to analyze test results and prepare technical reports. </li><li>Required Skills and Knowledge </li><li>Good knowledge of metrology applied to electromagnetic, mechanical, climatic, and electrical quantities. </li><li>Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and data management/calibration software. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Problem-solving mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. </li><li>Accuracy, reliability, and quality orientation. </li><li>Ability to work effectively within a team. </li><li>Operational autonomy and sense of responsibility. </li><li>Commitment to continuous professional and technical development. </li></ul>Desidered Skills/Knowledge <ul><li>Experience in managing testing or calibration laboratories. </li><li>Familiarity with quality management systems based on EN 17025. </li><li>Experience coordinating activities with accredited laboratories. </li><li>Interest in innovation and continuous improvement. </li></ul>Education and Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline. </li><li>3-5 years of experience in testing or calibration laboratory activities, preferably within ACCREDIA-accredited laboratories. </li></ul>Languages <ul><li>Good Italian proficiency.</li><li>Good knowledge of technical English, both written and spoken. </li></ul>Alla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B2, ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale.
