We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend engineer who can quickly get up to speed and start contributing in feature development and maintenance of PVcase’s simulation product offering. This includes working on:<ul><li><a href="https://pvcase.com/yield">PVcase Yield</a> - a state of the art energy simulation tool web application.</li><li>Contributing to PVcase platform features and services.</li><li>Maintaining and extending energy simulation integrations with the remaining PVcase product portfolio (<a href="https://pvcase.com/ground-mount">GM</a>/<a href="https://pvcase.com/roof-mount">RM</a>/<a href="https://pvcase.com/prospect">Prospect</a>).</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Web development using React/TS for FE in collaboration with UI/UX designers.</li><li>Integrating with, or ideally, contributing to BE (primarily Python) and AWS Cloud services in collaboration with other BE engineers and company’s dedicated DevOps staff.</li><li>Active exploration and usage of AI-powered tools to enhance development workflows, code quality, and team productivity.</li></ul><ul><li>5+ years of professional software development experience.</li><li>FE capabilities to build and maintain frontend code with the stack encompassing React, Redux, Typescript, CSS Modules.</li><li>Experience of working in a serverless microservice cloud architecture setup</li><li>Ability to navigate UI/X designs in Figma and experience working with custom Design Systems</li><li>Ability to maintain and contribute to automated e2e test suites utilising frameworks such as Cypress</li><li>Version control using Git and collaboration and code reviews in platforms such as Github etc.</li><li>Strong commitment to quality and unit testing code.</li><li>Exposure to Agile development environment (including CI/CD).</li></ul>Nice to have <ul><li>Knowledge of AWS cloud engineering, with experience in services such as AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53.</li><li>Animated 3D computer graphics in a web browser using ThreeJS.</li><li>Some knowledge of containerisation using Docker.</li><li>Ability to contribute to numerical computations and algorithms and their optimisation.
