<h2>Subsidiary</h2>Vulcan Steel Products<h2>Overview</h2><p>Inside Sales / Customer Service </p><p>Support sales to improve their productivity by inputting bids, preparing reports, coordinating with other teams, and handling assigned accounts. </p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Receive bid requests from outside sales reps, input project details into the CRM software, review blueprints, and schedule estimates to be completed. </li> <li>Conduct brief reviews of quotes, then forward them to sales team for distribution to customers. </li> <li>Work with the outside sales team for lead generation.</li> <li>Ensuring continuity of sales operations by covering for RSM’s during vacations or other absences and assisting with open territories as required.</li> <li>Assist with contract receipt, review and filing. </li> <li>Perform an initial assessment of orders to verify the presence and accuracy of all required information and documents.</li> <li>Assuming primary responsibility for the management of several key accounts.</li> <li>Communicate on a regular basis with Market Manager </li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul> <li><p>Required: </p>  <ul>   <li>Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)</li>   <li>Ability to manage and monitor the bid process daily.</li>   <li>Effective communication both in written and verbal form</li>   <li>Organized and ability to prioritize well.</li>   <li>Ability to travel occasionally to see customers and outside sales reps</li>   <li>Capable of handling difficult customers with professionalism</li>   <li>Willingness to relocate if needed and have the ambition to advance into a Regional Sales Manager position.</li>  </ul><p>Preferred:</p>  <ul>   <li>4 Year College Degree in Applicable Field</li>   <li>Inside or Outside Sales Experience</li>   <li>Salesforce experience</li>  </ul></li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.</strong></em></p>

<p>OmniSource, LLC is a multifaceted metals-recycling company&mdash;one of North America&rsquo;s largest processors and distributors of scrap and secondary metals. We collect, process, and resell a wide variety of scrap metal. Through recent expansions and acquisitions, we can now process 7 million tons of ferrous scrap per year and more than 1 billion pounds of nonferrous metals. We currently operate more than 70 collection and processing facilities, including 11 high-capacity shredders as well as other metals processing facilities, and employ about 2,500 people. Our primary collection and processing facilities are in the Midwest, the Southeast, and the mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. Moreover, utilizing a wide-ranging fleet of trucks and containers, railcars, and barges to collect and haul metals, our reach stretches across North America. Our national brokerage and trading operations serve both metals buyers and sellers, providing the market intelligence and insights needed to optimize transaction value. Supplementing our company-operated scrap collection sites, we also acquire metals from industrial scrap generators with which we have established strategic partnerships. We have designed and installed customized metals-recycling programs, some of which we manage and operate, for manufacturing companies nationwide.
