JOB PURPOSE: To execute electrical and instrumentation Preventive and proactive maintenance works. Condition monitoring of Equipments &amp; Electrical switch gears.DIMENSIONSEHS : <ul><li>Respect all safety rules as per HARSCO standards and work should be as per Procedures.</li><li>Must obey the customer and Harsco safety rules and policies</li><li>Ensure Participation in all the company safety event.</li><li>Shouldn’t allow anyone to work unsafe manner </li><li>Ensure to know the all aspects and impacts of your workplace prior to each task and to protect environment as per company standard.</li><li>Ensure to execute all best practices at work by provide training.</li><li>Adequate training for EHS and Job specific training to the direct workers.</li></ul>Financial: <ul><li>Belt weighed calibration and maintenance activities, due to contractor payment based on belt scale reading.</li><li>Effective utilization of equipment</li><li>Plant maintenance and spares should be within the financial plan</li><li>Weigh bridge and belt scale inspections and periodical check list to follow.</li></ul>Non-Financial:<ul><li>To execute preventive maintenance activities of Electrical &amp; Instrumentation system.</li><li>To execute scheduled maintenance of Electrical machines, equipment’s, Instruments etc.</li><li>To guide shift electrical technician during trouble shooting of Electrical machines &amp; analyse Electrical circuit drawing for interlocks &amp; protection.</li><li>Analyse equipment’s condition by regular field visits &amp; condition monitoring techniques.</li><li>Coordination with third party vendors during testing &amp; calibration of Protective Relays, Thermography study, meter calibrations etc.</li><li>Carry out scheduled calibration of weighing instruments &amp; record keeping.</li><li>Carry out Electrical safety check lists, Conveyor safety check list, Process interlocks checking &amp; record keeping.</li><li>Supervision of work activities during breakdown maintenance.</li><li>Maintaining safety standards and adhering to electrical codes</li><li>Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues/malfunctioning as and when required</li><li>Reviewing work procedures and suggesting improvement measures</li><li>Coordinating with on-site personnel like <a href="https://resources.jobsoid.com/job-descriptions/construction/electrician">electricians</a>, Mechanical technicians, and operators to ensure proper workflow</li><li>Involvement during preparation of Risk assessments, procedures &amp; work activity planning</li><li>Basic knowledge on PLC &amp; SCADA &amp; Capable of understating interlocks &amp; System protections.</li><li>To impart technical trainings on SMP, SOP, Risk assessments, Job safety awareness for technicians.</li><li>Keeping track on statutory compliances relevant to Electrical aspects &amp; closure of findings.</li></ul>5.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES<ul><li>Plant equipment safety and safe work training to the workers</li><li>Plant availability for the operations</li><li>Plant equipment efficiency</li><li>Preventive and proactive maintenance activities</li><li>Plant equipment failures should be minimized</li><li>Root cause analysis for failure to be study to avoid further failure.</li><li>Safe stock inventory should be maintained in the store.</li></ul>SPECIAL FEATURES Context of the Job: Electrical Engineer should ensure for 100% electrical safety at workplace.
