Strategic &amp; Operational Contribution:<ul><li>Support the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans for the UK service organisation, specifically focused on both Bakery (BAK) and Extruded Food Technologies (EFT) segments.</li><li>Actively contribute through the promotion of field services, repairs, spare parts, technical audits, training, and service projects.</li></ul>Sales &amp; Business Development:<ul><li>Drive service sales within the assigned regional territory, including responsibility for all aspects of EFT &amp; BAK service sales performance.</li><li>Generate and process service RFQs in line with departmental procedures.</li><li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities for service products, balancing opportunity with risk assessment.</li><li>Promote the GEA service brand by building strong customer relationships and fostering trust.</li></ul>Account &amp; Stakeholder Management:<ul><li>Ensure customer satisfaction by aligning service delivery with business objectives.</li><li>Actively manage key accounts and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Provide support to internal service teams to ensure seamless enquiry handling and order execution.</li></ul>Financial &amp; Commercial Oversight:<ul><li>Own the regional service sales budget, maintaining awareness of pricing and margin targets as defined by service management for BAK/EFT segment.</li><li>Present monthly sales performance reports, including order intake, pipeline opportunities, risk assessment, and competitor insights.</li><li>Negotiate terms, pricing for service/spare parts offers, mods/upgrades, SLAs with clients, address objections and concerns to move deals forward and win orders.</li><li>Service sales growth by researching and analysing Irish market trends to find potential clients within existing i-base, generate leads through regular site visits, face to face and phone conversations identifying sales opportunities.</li><li>Preparation of regular sales reports for management</li></ul>Technical Expertise &amp; Training:<ul><li>Engage in ongoing technical training to build in-depth knowledge of GEA's service and new machine product offerings.</li><li>Provide expert technical support and contribute to cross-selling initiatives for services and new equipment.</li></ul>CRM &amp; Installed Base Management:<ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and opportunity data within the CRM system.</li><li>Update and manage I-BASE records, ensuring visibility of installed equipment and its service history.</li></ul>Marketing &amp; Events:<ul><li>Participate in marketing initiatives and trade fairs as required to support brand and service promotion.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Coordination:<ul><li>Collaboration with Other Departments by working closely with departments like New Equipment, sales Marketing, Credit Control and Finance to ensure operations align with business objectives.</li><li>Liaison Role by acting as a liaison between the regional country service team and global country representatives to ensure that local needs and concerns are communicated effectively.</li><li>Collaboration with Internal Service Sales, Technical Support, Field Service and NE Projects to ensure the delivery of service orders ensuring customer satisfaction.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Strong understanding of Extrusion &amp; Bakery food technology systems</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales - ideally within food processing, bakery, or capital equipment environments.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to drive service revenue growth, including spare parts, repairs, upgrades, and long-term service agreements</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP or similar)</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (oral and written).</li><li>Effective planning, negotiation, and networking skills.</li><li>Self-confidence, people management skills, and a professional, approachable demeanour</li><li>Language: Fluent English and Italian (advantageous)</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
